The MCPNG recently participated in an information exhibition facilitated by Transparency International PNG (TIPNG), and the Community Coalition Against Corruption (CCAC).

The ‘Integrity & Action’ Exhibition was staged at the Holiday Inn on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of March.

Council President, Neville Choi spoke to groups of students and participants who visited the MCPNG Booth, telling them of what the Media Council was, and its work in representing the mainstream media of the country.

“There was a mixture of groups and their knowledge of the Council, and it was engaging to tell them about it. It was also heartening to see some student groups who had an interest in the media and speaking about the work they do in their schools with regard to the media, understanding how it operates, and honing their skills to become journalists one day,” Mr. Choi said.
