REMINGTON Group is proud to be a sponsor of the PNG Media Awards 2025!

Remington Group, a long-standing leader in PNG’s technology and business solutions space, is supporting the awards as part of its broader commitment to national transformation and development.

The company is proudly sponsoring the ‘Best Website’ Award under the Online category of the Awards. This award celebrates outstanding design, content, and engagement by a PNG-based online platform, recognising excellence in digital journalism and storytelling.

Chief Executive Officer of the Remington Group, Navin Raju, says Remington Group is driving Papua New Guinea’s future through innovative information, communication and technology, business, and document management solutions and is proud to support the work of the media.

“As we lead this transformation (in PNG ICT), it is important to support our key partners - media being one of them. We work closely with the media every week, and these awards are an opportunity to recognise their contributions and the vital role they play in our society,” says Mr. Raju.

Media Council of PNG President, Neville Choi says the industry has not had the opportunity to stage the PNG Media Awards for more than 10 years.

“The last time these awards were held, digital media wasn’t even part of the conversation. It will be fascinating to see how far the industry has come. This year’s awards mark a new chapter for journalism in PNG - one that reflects where we are today, and where we are headed,” Mr. Choi says.

The PNG Media Awards celebrate excellence across journalism, radio, television, and digital platforms. With categories spanning investigative report, photography, production and diversity in media, the awards aim to life standards, recognise talent, and inspire the next generation of storytellers.
